Apaches
Yesterday, three Apaches were flying over our house. They flew there for more than an hour. I don't know why they were here. I think it was an exercise. Apaches are not very uncommon here in the area, but normally there is just one, not three. Nevertheless, it is great to see them.

Into Halloween...
We never celebrated Halloween here when we were children, so it is funny to see how our children are talking about it all month long already. They are celebrating it at school, so they don't talk about anything else at the moment.

Two new additions
Found two new (old) books today in a shop voor 0,75 euro a piece. That's almost 600 pages of comics for 1,50 euro (1,38 dollar). Not bad I think?

Finally, after several years, there is a new monthly Dutch comic. It is called "Superhelden", just like the old days.
In the comic, there will be a lot of translated art, but also new art of young Dutch artists. I really going to enjoy it. It has been to long since I read new stuff in my own language.
Here the preview edition of the series, starting in January 2014. Looks old on the outside but believe me, it is completely new!!

Rose Red
Watching Rose Red at the moment. I have seen it 3 times already, but I still love it. To bad, there is no book of this. What do you guys think of the film????

Hahaha, I know this from the early days. Nowadays my children are knocking on the door when it takes to long, but the comics are still in the bathroom. Haha.

Found this under my sons bed today. It seems to be a Tarranga. Does anyone know if these toys are based on a game or something? It 's just a small toy but it looks pretty nice.
