Carnival, 17/8/2013

This afternoon, we went to Overloon to have an icecream. Overloon is famous because one of the hardest battles in WW2 in the Netherlands was situated in the Overloon area. A link to the museum about this battle and WW2 in general is here: http://www.oorlogsmuseum.nl/

It's about 6 km's by bike from our home in Venray. The weather was really nice after the rain in the morning, the temperature was good (24 degrees Celsius) so we enjoyed the bikeride.

After the ride and icecream we found out there was a small carnival in the village and offcourse,
the children were hyper hyper right away, so we went for some time.

After the rides and the candy we took our bikes and went back home. We were right in time for Batman on Cartoon Network. It's the kids favorite show.
